Мастер-классы от Сьюзен.
1.
В дни конференции (8 или 9) Сьюзан может дать небольшой (на час-полтора) мастер-класс.
Темы. которые она предлагает:
For at the conference, you may choose a class:
(1) five-step waltz variations of the 19th century (1840s-1890s)
or
(2) five-step dances of the 20th century (half & half and five-step)
If there is interest, I also have two other ideas:
(1) class on a new quadrille, "Quadrille Russe", French from
approximately 1900.
(2) informal discussion of sources other than dance manuals, including
dance cards, letters, invitations, assembly rules, etc. I will bring
examples to discuss. This can be part of the conference if you like,
but must be a discussion around a table, not a lecture!

- Swedish dances
- interesting new subgenre of American country dances 1818 into 1860s
- galopades including Gothic Dance 1830s-1860s
